It is always a joy to talk to people passionate about plants and that was decidedly the case when renowned plantsman Roy Lancaster and his team came to the nursery.

We had a most enjoyable time chatting with someone so knowledgeable and straightforward as Roy, and the day was highlighted with moments such as arriving at our pots of Geum coccineum, an introduction of Roy’s, and the prompting of his reminiscences of the trip in which he discovered it - gardening gold.
