Vinca minor 'Illumination'

Blue-mauve flowers up to 15cm (6in) from March to June and growing 150cm (60in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun or shade.

'Lesser Periwinkle' or 'Creeping Myrtle'. One of the best ground covers for shade, with dense evergreen variegated foliage and cheerful flowers. The species is native to continental Europe.
