Pinky-purple flowers up to 90cm (36in) from June to October and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Prefers well drained soil in sun or light shade.

Identified in and named for the village of Bampton in Devon. Drought tolerant. Clouds of tiny flowers best appreciated at the front of the border. Good purple foliage.
