Tradescantia 'Osprey'

White flowers with blue centre up to 60cm (24in) from June to September and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun or light shade.

Named after John Tradescant (both father and son), who in the early C17th were among the earliest English plantsmen. Native to North America.
