Succisa pratensis 'Derby Purple'

Violet purple flowers up to 60cm (24in) from July to September and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun.

A slightly shorter and more compact form of "Devil's Bit Scabious". The deeper and more richly coloured flowers persist through late summer and attract bees and butterflies.
