Sisyrinchium 'Biscutella'

Dark gold flowers veined and flushed purple up to 20cm (8in) from June to September and growing 15cm (6in) wide. Prefers well drained soil in full sun.

Related to the Iris family, Sisyrinchium occur widely in the United States and into Canada. Mostly they are blue or yellow, this one being a happy accident. Does not set seed.
