Sempervivum octopodes var. apetalum

Hairy green rosettes tipped brown up to 4cm (2in) and growing 10cm (4in) wide. Prefers well drained, gritty soil in full sun.

S. octopodes is a very rare find on one mountain in Macedonia, originally in 1929, and var. apetalum (meaning without petals) has only been found once on the same mountain in 1937 by the Rev. and Mrs H. P. Thompson.
