Raised in Shropshire in 2001 by Jim Almond. A hardy variety of unusually rich colouring. Site in good light but away from hot midday sun. Good for rock garden, raised bed, trough or container.

Vivid pink flowers up to 5cm (2in) from March to April and growing 15cm (6in) wide. Prefers well drained, gritty soil in sun.
