Salvia x sylvestris 'May Night' (S. Mainacht)

Violet blue flowers up to 60cm (24in) from May to September and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Prefers well drained soil in full sun.

Salvia sylvestris and S. villicaulis are thought to be the parents. A very hardy salvia, suitable for cold areas. Cut back immediately after flowering for a possible second flush.
