Violet blue flowers up to 90cm (36in) from June to August and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Prefers well drained soil in full sun.

A very hardy perennial salvia. Cut back immediately after flowering to promote a second flush in late summer. Good in combination with Veronica longifolia 'Marietta' and white leucanthemums.
