Salvia nemorosa 'Amethyst'

Purple-pink flowers up to 60cm (24in) from June to August and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Prefers well drained soil in sun.

A hardy perennial salvia selected by Dutch grower Piet Oudolf. Cut back immediately after flowering to promote a second flush in late summer. Good in combination with Knautia macedonica and blue geraniums.
