Salvia 'Nachtvlinder'

Deep purple flowers up to 75cm (30in) from June to October and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Prefers well drained soil in sun.

Recent introduction from Germany. The name translates as 'moth'. A form of the natural hybrid between S. greggii and S. microphylla found in the Mexican mountains. Trim to shape in spring.
