Rudbeckia fulgida var. deamii

Yellow flowers with black centres up to 100cm (40in) from August to October and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Happy in most soils in sun.

“Orange Coneflower”. A selection of Rudbeckia fulgida, one of the toughest of perennials. Native American Indians used it for many medicinal problems from ear ache to snakebites. Now endangered in the wild.
