Primula vulgaris

Pale yellow flowers up to 10cm (4in) from March to May and growing 2ocm (8in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun or light shade.

'Primrose'. Happy in lightly shaded borders with daffodils, hellebores and Brunnera. Grown in sun the ground should not dry out and division of clumps should done after flowering.
