Primula veris hose-in-hose

Light yellow double flowers up to 15cm (6in) from April to May and growing 15cm (6in) wide. Happy in most good garden soils in light shade.

First mentioned by John Gerard in his 1597 'Historie of Plants' this intriguing double version of the native 'Cowslip' is just as easy to grow. Nice with smaller varieties of Narcissus.
