Persicaria filiformis 'Lance Corporal'

Red flowers up to 90cm (36in) from September to October and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in light shade.

A chance seedling from Rowden Gardens in Devon. Selected for its dramatic foliage effect. The flowers are tiny but form a cloud hovering over the plant at the end of the season.
