Pennisetum thunbergii 'Red Buttons'

Red flowers up to 90cm (36in) from June to September and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Prefers well drained soil in full sun.

“Thunberg’s Pennisetum” is native to tropical and southern Africa mostly, but has proved surprisingly adaptable to the British climate. Good red autumn tints in foliage.
