Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Black Beauty'

Purple-black flowers up to 90cm (36in) from July to September and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Happy in any good, not dry soil in sun.

A beautiful dark flowered selection from Glen Chantry nursery. Grown to great effect with salvias such as S. Courson Pink. Good cut flower.
