Panicum virgatum 'Heiliger Hain'

Pinky-red flowers up to 100cm (40in) from July to September and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Happy in most good garden soils in sun.

"Switchgrass". Selection of an American prairie grass that has the best red autumn colours of any panicum if sited in an open sunny position. Unless untidy, leave foliage until trimming away in late winter.
