Miscanthus sinensis 'Rotsilber'

Silver red flowers up to 200cm (80in) from August to October and growing 120cm (48in) wide. Happy in most good garden soils in sun.

Literally Red Silver. It flowers a beautiful glossy wine red, the seed heads becoming white and fluffy. The species is a native of Japan. Good on clay.
