Miscanthus sinensis 'China'

Copper brown flowers up to 180cm (72in) from August to October and growing 90cm (36in) wide. Happy in most good garden soils in sun.

Introduced by Ernst Pagels and considered by him to be one of his best. Olive green foliage is succeeded by fine autumn colour.
