Lythrum salicaria 'Robert'

Purple-red flowers up to 90cm (36in) from July to August and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Prefers retentive soil in sun or light shade.

“Purple Loosestrife”. A selection of our native plant, equally at home in the border as by pond or stream. Reputed to calm excited oxen.
