Knautia macedonica

Crimson red flowers up to 60cm (24in) from June to September and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Prefers well drained soil in full sun.

“Macedonian scabious”. Richly coloured flowers produced in profusion all summer. May need support in very fertile soils. Contrasts well with grey leaved plants and the lime green flowers of Alchemilla mollis.
