Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus

Yellow scented flowers up to 80cm (32in) from May to June and growing 90cm (36in) wide. Happy in most good garden soils in full sun.

“Lemon Lily”, “Day Lily”. Native to China where the flowers are steamed and then dried as a traditional food. One of the earliest to flower. Fragrant.
