Gillenia trifoliata

White flowers up to 120cm (48in) from May to July and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Likes retentive soil in sun or light shade.

“Bowman’s Root”. Graceful plant that thrives with a little shade to keep it cool. Produces good autumn colour foliage. Native and once widespread in the eastern US, but now listed as threatened in the wild.
