Geranium 'Philippe Vapelle'

Lavender blue flowers up to 40cm (16in) from May to June and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Prefers well drained soil in full sun.

Introduced by the Orkney farmer, Alan Bremner. It is a hybrid between G. renardii and G. platypetalum, the neat, mound-forming grey foliage having the characteristics of G. renardii. Good in hot dry spots.
