Filipendula multijuga 'Hjørdis' (F. 'Red Umbrellas')

Pink flowers up to 75cm (30in) from July to September and growing 75cm (30in) wide. Prefers retentive or moist soil in light shade.

Named after the Norwegian nurseryman who made this selection of an East Asian “meadowsweet”. Wonderfully showy red veined foliage on a plant that performs well in all but hot, sunny and dry positions in the garden.
