Eryngium x zabelii 'Big Blue'

Bright blue flowers up to 75cm (30in) from July to August and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Prefers good well drained, not dry soil in full sun.

'Sea Holly'. From a nursery in Lancashire. One of the easiest large blue flowered eryngiums to grow. Tap rooting and will adapt to drier conditions if well established. A well worked clay soil can grow them well though.
