Echinops bannaticus 'Blue Globe'

Dark blue flowers up to 150cm (60in) from July to August and growing 90cm (36in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun.

"Globe Thistle". Very easy perennial for mid to back of border, with no need for staking and drought tolerant. Good cut flower and very attractive to insects especially bees and butterflies.
