Dryopteris erythrosora

Copper new fronds, maturing to dark green up to 60cm (24in) and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Evergreen. Prefers moist, humus rich soil in light shade.

“Autumn Fern”. This fern can tolerate drier soils than many, but will thrive better and be taller in a moist humus rich soil. New growths emerge through spring and summer with a burnished copper sheen. Evergreen. From China and Japan.
