Chionochloa conspicua

Pale creamy white flowers up to 150cm (60in) from May to August and growing 100cm (40in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun.

The "Plumed Tussock Grass" from New Zealand is an easy evergreen grass which can work as a specimen planting, looking like a small Pampas grass. The flower stems last well on the clump and can be cut and dried.
