Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Avalanche'

Purple-green flowers up to 150cm (60in) from June to August and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun.

New brightly variegated form of this clump forming grass. The elegant flowers dry to sand-coloured heads which can be left for interest all winter. Cut down late February before new growth appears.
