Bergenia 'Abendglut'

Deep pink flowers up to 30cm (12in) from April to May and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun or light shade.

A Georg Arends introduction from 1950. Neater growing variety that colours richly over winter providing the position is not too shady. Evergreen.
