Blue-mauve flowers up to 15cm (6in) from March to April and growing 30cm (12in) wide. Prefers humus rich soil in light shade.

A variety of ‘wood anemone” named after the 19thC Irish gardener Henry Robinson who was instrumental in introducing the concepts of the herbaceous border and the English cottage garden.
