Anemone hupehensis 'Praecox'

Deep pink flowers up to 60cm (24in) from August to October and growing 60cm (24in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun or light shade.

One of the first "Japanese anemones" to come into flower. Establishment works best in fertile, humus rich soil especially if the site is shady. If happy the plant will spread to a broad clump.
