Amsonia 'Blue Ice'

Sky blue flowers up to 45cm (18in) from May to July and growing 30cm (12in) wide. Happy in most good garden soils in sun or light shade.

Amsonias are a tough genus even coping with clay soil well. This new form is well shaped and bushy with larger than average good blue flowers coming from dark buds. Makes a bright yellow splash of colour in autumn.
