Alstroemeria psittacina 'Royal Star'

Wine red flowers, edged green up to 80cm (32in) from August to September and growing 45cm (18in) wide. Prefers well drained, good soil, shelter & light shade.

Tender and resents root disturbance once established, but can be replanted as large clumps. Rhizomes can be harmed by freezing, so plant up to 30 cm (1ft) into the ground - they will surface.
