Allium hollandicum 'Purple Sensation'

Purple flowers up to 80cm (32in) from May to June and growing 15cm (6in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in full sun.

As with all alliums, best used among earlier flowering plants to prolong flowering interest. The foliage dies away as the flowers form. The richness of the flower colour is hard to surpass. Good with early euphorbias such as E. epithymoides.
