Allium amethystinum 'Red Mohican'

Deep wine red flowers up to 100cm (40in) from June to July and growing 15cm (6in) wide. Happy in most garden soils in sun.

Very decorative in bud as well as when the insect attracting flowers open. Perfect for mid border where fading foliage will not show. Easy and self-supporting. Dead head to avoid seedlings proliferating.
